About Ernst Fink AG
Ernst Fink AG is a family-owned timber construction company based in Biezwil (SO), run in its third generation since 1932. The company manufactures timber construction components and elements for single- and multi-family homes, agricultural, commercial and industrial buildings as well as public-sector buildings. The value chain comprises CNC joinery on 5- and 6-axis Hundegger machines, prefabrication of elements up to 18 m in length on an element table, contract work, carpentry and joinery work, and on-site assembly. Shop drawing and prefabrication are carried out digitally using cadwork and an augmented-reality solution for element prefabrication. Around 30 employees work at a single site in Biezwil, where the production hall, joinery hall and warehouse were expanded. As a raw material, timber is used as a resource-conserving construction material thanks to its low CO2 footprint and renewable availability.
