The JUNKER Group, headquartered in Nordrach (Baden-Württemberg), develops, produces and distributes high-precision grinding machines and high-performance filtration technology. Erwin Junker Maschinenfabrik GmbH manufactures high-speed grinding machines, in particular CBN grinding machines on its own Machine Platform 3, for workpieces ranging from crankshafts and camshafts to gear shafts and thread taps. Processes include cylindrical grinding, centerless grinding, double-disc grinding, profile grinding and cut-off grinding, as well as the grinding of heavy shafts up to 5,000 mm in length and 5,000 kg in weight (KARGO machine), also for the wind energy industry. The group also includes LTA Lufttechnik GmbH (electrostatic air filtration, hall air cleaning and fire protection systems, active since 1980) and ZEMA Zselics Ltda. (specialized corundum grinding). Customers come from the automotive industry, tool industry, wind energy, aerospace and medical technology; the group employs around 1,300 staff at 11 locations worldwide and, in addition to turnkey systems, offers automation, software, digital services and the 24/7 JUNKER Premium Service.
