About FabricAir

FabricAir is a Danish manufacturer of air distribution systems made from textile fabric as well as ice protection systems for wind turbines. Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Køge, the company develops and produces fabric air ducts, return air systems, diffusers and application-specific solutions such as Defrost Ducts for cold storage facilities, barn ventilation (ClimaBarn) and Dual-Mode Airflow systems. Since 2023, FabricAir has been active in the renewable energy sector under the BorealisWind brand; the Ice Protection System prevents icing on rotor blades and can increase annual energy production by up to 10%. Production takes place in Lithuania and Mexico, with delivery to more than 120 countries. Customers include companies from food processing, pharmaceuticals and cleanroom technology, logistics, agriculture, the public sector and wind power.
