About Federtechnik Kaltbrunn AG
Federtechnik Kaltbrunn AG is a Swiss manufacturer founded in 1927 of metal springs, wire bent parts, stamped parts, stamp-bent parts and assembled modules. Core competence is spring manufacturing from spring wire and strip material: compression, extension, torsion, leaf, flat spiral, extension loop (Schling), magazine and disc springs as well as torsion bar springs and spring assemblies. The production spectrum includes coiling, winding, wire bending, stamping and stamp-bending with material thicknesses of 0.05 to 4 mm and wire diameters of 0.1 to 20 mm. In addition, the company offers in-house toolmaking, heat treatment, extensive surface treatments, laser technology, fine-blanking technology and assembly of modules from manual to fully automated. The company supplies more than 1,500 customers annually in 35 countries, especially from electrical and energy technology, medical technology, industry, construction, automotive and consumer goods. At the Kaltbrunn site (17,000 m²), 185 employees produce in small, medium and large series.
