About FEG Textiltechnik
FEG Textiltechnik Forschungs- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH was founded in Aachen in 1992 and develops and manufactures textile surgical implants. Under the internationally protected DynaMesh® brand, the company produces mesh implants for hernia, abdominal wall and inguinal hernia surgery, including techniques such as IPOM, CICAT, ENDOLAP, LICHTENSTEIN, IPST and HIATUS. The implants are made from PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) or a combination of PVDF and polypropylene using warp knitting on special machines, producing smooth, atraumatic edges without sawtooth edges. An in-house research and development department and close collaboration with scientific, medical and technical institutions characterize the company. The products are CE-compliant and in use in numerous countries worldwide; the implants are MRI-visible on request (Visible Technology). The quality management system is fully certified to EN ISO 13485.
