About Feinmechanische Werkstätte Thomas Markl GmbH
Feinmechanische Werkstätte Thomas Markl GmbH in Deisenhofen near Munich has been active since 1987 as a full-service provider for contract manufacturing, engineering and complete solutions. The company manufactures highly complex precision turned and milled parts, jigs, assemblies and special machinery in steel and aluminium to drawing or specification sheet – from one-off pieces to small series. The range of processes includes 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC milling (working envelopes up to 1080 x 710 x 710 mm and 800 x 600 x 500 mm respectively), CNC turning up to Ø360 x 1200 mm, die-sinking and wire EDM, grinding, honing, welding, laser cutting and sheet metal working; 3D printing and surface finishing are offered via partner companies. The offering is rounded out by CAD/CAM programming (CIMATRON, ESPRIT), jig and fixture building, assembly of complete units including pneumatics and electronics, and 3D coordinate metrology in a climate-controlled precision measuring room. Customers come from the automotive, metrology, electronics, medical, semiconductor, optics and aerospace industries. 26 employees work on 2400 m² of production space; the company is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
