About Feramic AG

Feramic AG, based in Stallikon (Canton of Zurich), is a Swiss contract manufacturer with three core areas: engineering, additive manufacturing and subtractive machining. In 3D metal printing (LPBF/Laser Powder Bed Fusion), prototypes, individual parts and small to medium series are produced from stainless steel 1.4404, aluminium (AlSi10Mg, Aheadd® CP1), tool steels (1.2709, Corrax), CoCr alloys and copper alloys (HOVADUR® CNCS). The additive production runs on LPBF systems from ConceptLaser/Collibrium with a total of 7 lasers. In-house, around 80% of additively manufactured parts are subsequently post-processed on 5-axis CNC milling machines (DMG) and lathes (DOOSAN); stress-relief annealing, aging and surface finishing through sandblasting, vibratory finishing and polishing complete the value chain. Production is automated (24/7) and fully digitized. Customers come from mechanical engineering, medical technology, aerospace, the automotive industry, toolmaking, shipbuilding as well as art and design.
