FormCAD GmbH is a toolmaking and CNC manufacturing company based in Schlettau in the Erzgebirge region of Saxony. Since 1996, the company has combined design expertise with high-tech manufacturing, delivering complete solutions from the initial 3D model to the finished production tool. Its range of services covers toolmaking from concept to finished tool set, prototype manufacturing via 3D printing, HSC milling and specialized prototype tools, as well as CNC services for complex 3D shapes in hardened steel and plastics, in particular active components for forming, injection moulding and die casting tools. In addition, wire EDM machining of almost all conductive materials, small-series production on a 320t press, and design, manufacturing preparation and NC programming are offered. An in-house try-out center and precision metrology ensure the quality of the results.
