About Formenbau Wollscheid

Formenbau Wollscheid GmbH was founded in 1982 in Neunkirchen/Saar and is now based in Nonnweiler in the Saarland. The company designs and manufactures custom injection molds for plastic parts, including 2-component injection molding, sample and pilot molds, and initial production runs through to series maturity. The range of services includes planning and development in collaboration with the customer, CAD design (Creo Parametric 7.0, Creo Direct), fill simulation with Moldex3D for optimizing part design and the injection molding process, as well as mold trials of injection molding tools up to 350 t clamping force. Manufacturing covers mold sizes up to max. 700 x 1200 mm with a mold weight of up to 5 t and is carried out on modern milling, turning, grinding and EDM machines. In addition, the company offers maintenance, repair and modification of injection molding tools – including third-party tools – as well as on-site customer service with replacement and modification services. With 50 employees, Formenbau Wollscheid serves customers across industries including medical technology, automotive, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, building services, aerospace and storage technology.
