About Foundry Alliance
FoundryAlliance is an alliance of independent, entrepreneur-led foundries with currently eleven production sites in Germany. More than 500 employees generate over €80 million in revenue there; the companies are 100% equity-financed. The group covers the entire spectrum of aluminium, heavy-metal, iron and investment casting, including all existing casting processes and alloys. Designers support customers from planning through to series maturity, and pattern and toolmaking specialists implement the results at the Hamburg, Varel, Spremberg, Freiberg, Weingarten and Gütersloh sites. After casting, parts are fettled, machined, hardened and X-ray inspected in-house. The focus is on prototypes and small and medium-volume series; in addition, the group takes over foundries from insolvency proceedings and offers business succession solutions.
