Friedrich Bähr GmbH & Co. KG (BÄHR GROUP) is a Bremen family business founded in 1933 that specializes in packaging solutions, waste management and logistics. The group comprises five divisions: BÄHR Verpackungsmittel for packaging and shipping solutions, Nord-West Kartonagen as a specialist in corrugated board and carton production, BÄHR Entsorgungsmanagement for licensing and take-back systems, BÄHR Logistik & Service with more than 20 of its own trucks for transport, warehousing, shipping and fulfillment, and the in-house agency Friedrich! for e-commerce and marketing. Carton production covers standard packaging through to individual custom solutions, from small batches to large-scale production, based on corrugated board and carton. Over 600 pallets are shipped daily; the logistics area at the Bremen site was continuously expanded until 2018. More than 160 employees serve over 70,000 customers; more than 5,000 companies trust the waste management services.

Friedrich Bähr founded his own company in Bremen (An der Weide 50); product range expanded to include cartons and closures, entry in the commercial register
- 1939–1945
War years: military service of the founder, office building at General-Ludendorff-Straße 35 destroyed
