About Gatzsch Schweißtechnik
Gatzsch Schweißtechnik GmbH develops and manufactures customized welding and joining systems for industrial series production at its Attendorn site. The portfolio includes projection welding machines (G-Prime Stand-Alone, Integrator, Integrator Light), systems for spot welding, arc welding (MIG/MAG, WIG), hot riveting, riveting/clinching and adhesive bonding technology, complemented by automation solutions and robotics system engineering. The value chain ranges from system development and design in SolidWorks and prototyping in the company's own technology center with welding laboratory to mechanical assembly, control cabinet construction, electrical assembly, commissioning and an after-sales service with mobile on-site service. Machine frames are manufactured in-house from steel or aluminum, including cutting and bending. Customers include renowned automotive suppliers worldwide as well as industries such as aerospace, household goods, furniture, mechanical engineering, defense, construction and electrical engineering. The company was founded in 1979 and has been part of the weba Group since 2021.

Materials & Processes
Steel
High-quality steel for machine frames and system components, including press-hardened steels (PHS) for body-in-white applications.
Aluminum
Used for machine frames and for the ferrum-free aluminum C-stand of the G-Speed follow-up unit with low electrical resistance.
Copper
Material for electrodes in resistance welding systems.
Plastic
Can be joined using adhesive bonding and riveting technology in the corresponding systems.
Composite materials
Can be processed using adhesive bonding technology, especially for lightweight construction and material combinations.
