Gert Weißbach GmbH from Chemnitz is a metalworking company with core competencies in sheet metal processing, component manufacturing for pressure piping, processing of standard profiles and CAD construction. Much of the value creation is kept in-house: from 3D design with MegaCAD to flatbed laser cutting including tube axis, press bending and rolling of sheet metal, through to welding (hand-held laser welding, MIG, MAG, TIG) by certified welders in accordance with EN 1090 EXC 2. In the field of surface technology, tumble finishing, pickling and passivation as well as electropolishing are offered, especially for stainless steels. Customers include, among others, special machinery manufacturers from the Chemnitz region, for whom door panels for process chambers are manufactured, among other things. External work is subcontracted to firmly integrated regional partners. At the site at Olbernhauer Straße 36 in Chemnitz, teams for production planning, design, workshop management and the workshop work together.
