About us
The Neufahrn Trade Association (GVN) was founded in 1993 as the Christmas Lighting Interest Group and was converted into a trade association in 1995. It is a registered association (VR 1153, District Court of Landshut) and sees itself as representing the interests of its members, who include self-employed professionals from retail, trade, commerce, industry and the liberal professions. The association's aim is to sustainably improve the economic situation of the individual professional groups. To this end, the GVN organizes Sunday shopping events, trade shows and the Neufahrn Christmas Market, provides GVN gift vouchers and offers its members joint advertising packages in local media as well as a platform for exchange. The original reason for its founding was the purchase and maintenance of Christmas lighting for the main street of Neufahrn i.NB. The association is based at Kleiststraße 26 in 84088 Neufahrn i.NB.

On April 14, 1993, six persons (Brunhilde Komorowski, Josef Parzefall, Heinrich Butz, Peter Fischaleck, Alois Meier, Maria Rau) issued an invitation to found an 'Interest Group for Christmas Lighting'; 30 founding members; the Christmas lighting was first switched on in December
