About HEUNISCH
Gießerei HEUNISCH GmbH, headquartered in Bad Windsheim, is a family-owned company with around 800 employees at three production sites in Germany and the Czech Republic. It manufactures demanding castings in grey cast iron (EN-GJL), spheroidal graphite cast iron (EN-GJS), vermicular graphite cast iron (EN-GJV) and aluminium permanent mould casting; piece weights range from 0.5 kg to 2,500 kg across all materials. At the headquarters in Bad Windsheim, machine-moulded series parts are produced; in Steinach/Thuringia, hand-moulded heavy castings; and in Krásná (CZ), aluminium permanent mould castings with in-house CNC machining, washing technology and assembly. The process chain covers design consulting, solidification simulation, pattern and tool making, casting technology, heat treatment, CNC machining, coating, cleaning and delivery ready for assembly. The components serve, among others, agricultural and commercial vehicle technology, compressor and mechanical engineering, drive technology, construction machinery, marine technology, and hydraulics and valve technology.
