About HEUNISCH
Gießerei HEUNISCH GmbH is a family-run foundry group headquartered in Bad Windsheim with around 800 employees at three sites in Germany and the Czech Republic. The company produces castings in grey cast iron (EN-GJL), ductile iron (EN-GJS), vermicular graphite iron (EN-GJV) and aluminium gravity die casting to DIN EN 1706 – from machine-moulded series parts from 0.5 kg up to hand-moulded large castings weighing 2,500 kg each. The production range covers the entire process chain from design consulting and casting simulation through pattern making, die and tool making to heat treatment, CNC machining, coating, technical cleaning and assembly. The moulding lines in Bad Windsheim are designed for series sizes of approx. 500 to 50,000 castings per year; hand-moulded large castings are produced in Steinach, and aluminium gravity die casting including CNC machining in Krásná (CZ). Customers include agricultural machinery, compressor and commercial vehicle engineering, drive technology, construction machinery, marine technology as well as hydraulics and valves.
