About us
Gietz AG is a Swiss family-owned company based in Gossau (SG), founded in 1892 by Johann Friedrich Gietz and now run by the fifth generation. The company develops, designs and manufactures flat-bed hot foil stamping machines for sheet and roll applications, machines for hologram application, and tray forming machines for take-away packaging. Fields of application include the finishing of folding cartons, labels and commercial printed products through to security printing, such as the application of OVDs on banknotes including polymer banknotes. Production takes place exclusively in Switzerland; together with sales partners in over 40 countries, Gietz is represented on all continents. The portfolio is complemented by comprehensive service: helpdesk and field service, training, preventive maintenance, retrofits, machine overhauls at its own plant, and more than 30'000 original spare parts items.
