Gneuss is a mechanical engineering company founded in 1983 and headquartered in Bad Oeynhausen, specializing in the extrusion of polymers and the processing of all polymer types. The portfolio includes MRS and MDS extruders with multi-thread sections for devolatilizing and decontaminating polymer melts, patented rotary melt filters (SFneos), sensors for pressure and temperature measurement, the VIS online viscometer, and the JUMP polyreactor for the polyreaction of PET. Based on these technologies, Gneuss delivers complete turnkey lines for sheet extrusion, PET strapping, pelletizing, and fiber and filament production. The OMNI recycling lines process industrial and post-consumer waste of a wide variety of polymers, including bottle-to-bottle recycling and compounding. At the headquarters in Bad Oeynhausen, a technology center is available for processing trials and development work; further pilot lines are operated by the subsidiary Gneuss Inc. in the USA and by the cooperation partner SysTech in Japan.
