About Gontermann-Peipers
Gontermann-Peipers GmbH is a family-run foundry company established in 1825, based in Siegen. At the Marienborn plant, ready-to-install rollers for steel and aluminum industry rolling mills are manufactured, including high-performance working rollers in Semi-HSS and HSS. At the Hain plant, cast components are produced using continuous casting, centrifugal casting, hand molding, and mold casting for general mechanical engineering, heavy machinery construction, and the vehicle and hydraulics industries. Furthermore, the company manufactures container bodies made of cast iron with graphite spheres for civilian nuclear technology, used as storage and transport containers. Both plants possess their own heat treatment facilities, such as perlite annealing, as well as mechanical machining, allowing for the delivery of ready-to-install solutions. With approximately 536 employees, a revenue of around €110 million, and an export share of 60.5%, the company supplies customers worldwide.
