About GOBA
Gotthardt Isolierteile GmbH (GOBA) is an owner-managed family business based in Baltmannsweiler, Baden-Württemberg. Since its founding in 1959, the company has developed and manufactured custom electrical insulation parts, punched and bent parts as well as film die-cuts for industrial applications with high electrical, thermal and mechanical requirements. GOBA operates as a manufacturer of insulation parts and as a technical converter of web-shaped materials: its range of services includes roll slitting and contract slitting in widths from 5 to 1,600 mm with a tolerance of ±0.1 mm, punching with steel-rule and solid steel dies, bending, folding, embossing, beading and hot forming, kiss-cutting on carrier liners as well as adhesive tape application and identification number marking. Materials processed include polyester films (Hostaphan, Mylar), aramid papers (Nomex), polyimide films (Kapton), pressboard, laminates such as DMD and NMN as well as fiberglass and mica materials of insulation classes A to C. Around 1,000 tonnes of web-shaped materials are processed each year; lot sizes range from 1 to 100 million pieces. Customers come from electromobility and automotive, electric motor and generator construction, energy technology, renewable energies, household appliances, ventilation technology, telecommunications as well as printing and office technology. Production takes place at the Baltmannsweiler site on approximately 2,500 square meters of manufacturing floor space.
