About GREMAKO

GREMAKO GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturer of cylindrical pins, tapered pins and draw parts to standard and customer drawing, founded in 1960 in Grevenbrück (Lennestadt). Production includes turning of diameters 1–30 mm and lengths 3–150 mm, through-feed centerless grinding, surface and vibratory grinding with surface finishes of Rz < 2, and diameter tolerances from 0.005 mm. Materials machined include free-cutting steels, quenched and tempered steels and case-hardening steels as well as stainless steels such as 1.4034, 1.4305 and 1.4401; in addition, the company offers heat treatments (hardening, tempering, case hardening and induction hardening, salt-bath and gas nitriding) and surface treatments such as black oxidizing, phosphating, zinc plating, nickel plating, zinc-nickel and hard chrome plating. In 2010 the company produced approximately 200 million pins per year with around 60 employees and, by its own account, maintains the largest warehouse for cylindrical and tapered pins. Customers are primarily the automotive industry and mechanical engineering; deliveries are made to Europe, the USA, Canada, South America and Asia.
