About Hanomag Lohnhärterei Group
Hanomag Lohnhärterei Group specializes in heat treatment of steel and aluminum components and offers the complete range of processes in this field. The offerings are supplemented by upstream and downstream processes such as cleaning, blasting, straightening, chipping/deburring, and insulating, as well as measurement and testing services. Mechanical processing centers are integrated at many locations, covering the entire process chain from raw material to tested, installable finished component. Materials treated are steel as well as heat-treatable cast and wrought aluminum alloys; for steel, the patented low-pressure carburizing process is used, and for aluminum, states according to T4, T5, T6, T64, and T7 are applied with air and/or water quenching. The company sees itself as a development partner for foundries and a series supplier for the automotive industry. The group of companies, originating from the heat treatment plant of the Hanomag Mechanical Engineering AG, has been a privately owned family business since 1986, with its headquarters in Hanover and further locations in Germany, Austria, and Poland.
