Hartmann Holzbau GmbH und Co. KG is a fourth-generation family company based in Lauterbach-Wallenrod in the Vogelsberg region (Hesse), managed by Dirk Hartmann (master carpenter). The company manufactures prefabricated wall, ceiling and roof elements made of timber – both single-side clad elements (DIN 1052-11 Type M1C) and double-side clad, non-glued timber panel elements (Type M2) – and executes new builds, rooftop extensions, roof structures, conversions and renovations in timber construction. The value chain comprises CAD-supported design and planning, element prefabrication in the company's own plant with a high degree of prefabrication, and on-site assembly. The structural timber used comes from sustainably managed regional forests, supplemented by natural building materials. The construction sites are located within a radius of approximately 100 kilometres around the site. Customers include private builders as well as commercial and public construction projects in residential and commercial building.
