About Harzer Kartonagen
Harzer Kartonagenfabrik Fritz Nickel GmbH & Co. KG has been developing and producing transport packaging made of corrugated board and wood since 1953. The product range includes folding and container boxes, honeycomb insert packaging, wooden crates, heavy-duty crates, special pallets and combination packaging of wood and corrugated board, also for overseas transport with load capacities of up to two tonnes. Production uses CNC-controlled machines such as boxmakers, inliners, slotters, die cutters, autoplatens and folding carton gluing machines; the fully automatic Jumboline SL 400 produces large-volume boxes with a working width of 4.50 m. Packaging samples are prototyped using CAD software and plotters. Availability is complemented by an in-house wood department, an express production line and an own fleet of five lorry trains. The third-generation family business supplies industry, trade and online retail from its site in Langelsheim (Astfeld) on the northern edge of the Harz mountains.
