Custom-Built Special-Purpose Machinery
HENKEL + ROTH GmbH is a special-purpose machinery company founded in 1990 by Dr. Udo Henkel and Dipl.-Ing. Matthias Roth, headquartered in Ilmenau, Thuringia. The company develops and manufactures customer-specific assembly automation solutions, including flexible assembly lines, rotary indexing machines, robot cells, gantry robots, palletizers and one-piece-flow systems. Its range of services includes handling technology, robotics, transfer technology, hot embedding of metal bushings into plastic parts, automated screwdriving, pressing, welding, marking, as well as test machines and leak testing. In addition, HENKEL + ROTH offers its own CNC parts manufacturing and design/engineering services. Customers come primarily from the automotive supply industry, the electric motor and electrical industry, as well as medical technology, and are located worldwide. In-house developments include the mobile robot, a self-contained mobile industrial robot whose 4th generation, with omnidirectional drive and fleet manager, was created together with industry partners and Fraunhofer IPA.
