About us

Since 1969, Hermann Benkert Werkzeug- und Formenbau GmbH has manufactured tools, moulds, jigs, load-handling equipment and lifting devices, supporting projects from consulting and design through to the finished product. Its range of services includes CNC and conventional turning, 5- and 7-axis turn-milling, 3- and 5-axis milling including HSC, deep-hole drilling up to Ø 35 mm at a drilling depth of 1300 mm, as well as cylindrical, surface, profile and jig grinding with machining accuracies of 1-2 µm in air-conditioned grinding halls. Materials machined include tool steel, stainless steel, aluminium and titanium, from one-off pieces and prototypes through to series production. The in-house design department of Hermann Benkert Konstruktions-GmbH develops CAD-supported custom solutions. Customers come from toolmaking and mould making, jig building and mechanical engineering. The company is based in Niederlauer near Bad Neustadt/Saale and is run in its third generation by Gabriele Behm and Tobias Behm.
