About Hermann Flörke GmbH
Hermann Flörke GmbH was founded in 1978 in Offenbach am Main and has since produced manicure and pedicure items, in particular nail files, for the leather goods industry in the Offenbach area and the steel goods industry in Solingen. The company manufactures its own broad range of manicure and pedicure products for the self-service retail market and beauty studios, and develops instruments for treating fingernails and calluses according to customer requirements. In addition to the file manufactory, the portfolio of services includes plastics processing, tool and mould making (injection moulds, deep-drawing tools), stamping technology, printing with up to four-colour direct printing, and product development including 3D design in SolidWorks. Since 1993, production has been streamlined and automated at the subsidiary Flörke Production S.R.L. in Daia near Hermannstadt (Sibiu) in Romania, which secures the company's international competitiveness. The portfolio is complemented by blister packaging, displays made of acrylic (PMMA) and promotional products. Production is carried out in thermoplastics such as PS, PP, ABS, SAN and TPE as well as in steel and aluminium for tool making. Customers come from the consumer goods, cosmetics, automotive, electronics and food industries.
