Herter Verpackung GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturer of packaging materials made from paper, board and cardboard, located at the former military airfield in Mendig (Rhineland-Palatinate). The company's roots go back to 1989, when Markus and Michael Herter started under the name M&M Verpackung in Nickenich; since 1998 the company has traded as Herter Verpackung GmbH & Co. KG. Four product groups are manufactured: edge protection angles for internal and external protection, spiral-wound hardboard cores, roll edge protection for products of any diameter, as well as corrugated folding boxes and cartons. Materials processed include paper, board, cardboard, corrugated board and hardboard; since 2014 a fully automatic inline machine has been at the centre of corrugated board production. From February 2024, business operations were taken over by Corex Germany GmbH & Co. KG; supplies are made primarily to the B2B sector, including the packaging industry and furniture manufacturing, throughout Germany and internationally.

Founded as M&M Verpackung by Markus and Michael Herter in Nickenich.

Relocation to Mayen and renaming to Herter Verpackung GmbH & Co. KG; started with 4 employees and a completely new machine fleet.
