HeWa Feinwerktechnik Engineering GmbH, based in Denzlingen near Freiburg, is an owner-managed solutions provider for the procurement and assembly of mechanical and electromechanical assemblies. Founded in 1998 by Clemens Wangler and Volker Heiny, the company was one of the first providers in outsourcing of fully assembled assemblies and bundles all relevant processes from a single source: project engineering, purchasing, project management, assembly and inspection. Manufacturing takes place via a pool of selected manufacturing partners worldwide covering all technology areas; assembly and 100 percent final inspection of the assemblies are carried out in Denzlingen according to a zero-defect strategy using an in-house inspection standard that is more demanding than the one required by the standard. Customers come from sensitive sectors such as laboratory technology, medical technology and analytical technology. The quality management system has been ISO 9001 certified since 1999.
