About Hielscher Ultrasonics
Hielscher Ultrasonics is a family-owned company headquartered in Teltow near Berlin. The company designs, develops, manufactures and distributes powerful ultrasonic homogenizers (sonicators) for use in the laboratory, at bench-top scale and in industrial production. The portfolio comprises laboratory sonicators from 50 to 400 watts, programmable bench-top devices from 0.5 to 2 kW and industrial processors from 4 to 16 kW, which can also be operated as clusters for high throughput volumes. Applications range from homogenization, dispersion and deagglomeration, emulsification, extraction and cell disruption to sonochemical reactions. The wetted sonotrodes are made of titanium, the reactors of stainless steel 316L or glass. The systems are designed for continuous 24/7 operation under full load. Hielscher also integrates the devices into custom systems such as wire cleaning systems and operates a Technical Center for feasibility tests and process optimization. The North American market is served through the subsidiary Hielscher USA, Inc.; the devices are used worldwide in laboratories and production facilities on all continents.
