About the HILO Group
The HILO Group is a global system supplier of automotive components with a focus on hinges and locking systems for OEMs. The company was founded in 2023 as a holding company and since 2024 has consolidated four specialized portfolio companies: KICO, ISH (Innomotive Systems Hainichen), PRINZ Kinematics and High Precision Components. Manufacturing comprises forming processes on punching, eccentric and hydraulic presses, joining processes with welding presses and welding robots, machining, plastic injection molding, wire and pipe bending, laser cutting, grinding as well as in-house tool manufacturing and assembly. The value chain is complemented by design and development using 3D-CAD, 3D tolerancing, FMEA and FEM simulation. Customers include manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Volvo, Jaguar and McLaren. The group employs around 1,500 staff at sites in Germany, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria and China and planned total revenue of approx. 350 million EUR for 2024. The headquarters is located in Hainichen, Saxony.
