About hotset
Headquartered in Lüdenscheid, Hotset GmbH is a German supplier and system developer in industrial heating and temperature control technology. The company manufactures heating elements such as coiled heating cartridges, cartridge heaters, tubular heaters, silicone heating elements, hot-runner nozzle heaters and aluminum nitride heaters, as well as temperature sensors and temperature controllers, mostly to customer specification. In addition, hotset develops integrated system solutions such as the DH system for dynamic temperature control of injection molds with heating rates up to 60 K/s and the D system for in-situ analysis of thermohydraulic processes in media circuits. Through the subsidiary iQtemp, acquired in 2023, the portfolio was extended to include engineering, simulation technology, additive manufacturing of metal components, vacuum brazing, diffusion welding, corrosion protection and stainless steel filter technology. The company also offers outsourcing services, including the takeover of value chains and assembly lines. Customers come from plastics processing, toolmaking, hot-runner technology, foundries, packaging and food technology, medical technology, mobility, mechanical engineering as well as safety and defense technology. In addition to production in Lüdenscheid, hotset maintains its own production facilities in China, Malta, India, the USA and the United Kingdom.
