Imtech-Steri AG is a Swiss engineering and service company for steam sterilization based in Biel-Benken in the Basel region. The company supports the entire life cycle of steam autoclaves for pharmaceutical, biotech, life-science and food sites: preventive and corrective maintenance, validation and qualification (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ), revamping and control upgrades with the in-house itech software, engineering and installation, and 24/7 emergency support – fully brand-independent. In addition, sterilization is offered as a service: validated moist-heat cycles with saturated steam under vacuum (typically 121 °C up to a defined F0 value) according to ISO 17665 and EN 285, documented in a GMP-compliant manner. For food producers, spices, herbs, tea, nuts and other dried ingredients are sterilized or pasteurized; for larger volumes, Imtech-Steri supplies complete BioSteam systems. More than 200 autoclaves are supported worldwide.

Founding of Imtech-Steri AG in Basel; specialization in maintenance, modernization and reliability of autoclaves.
- 1990er
Development of a Siemens-based control software for autoclave upgrades; continuously developed since then (itech Control Software).
Today, over 200 autoclaves supported worldwide from the Biel-Benken location near Basel.
