About ib-schwarz
Ingenieurbüro Werner Schwarz GmbH (ib-schwarz) is an engineering consultancy founded in 1959, headquartered in Stuttgart with a further location in Ravensburg. The firm specialises in the design and site supervision of building services engineering (TGA) in the fields of electrical and conveying technology, and provides engineering services under HOAI across all service phases for cost groups 440 (Electrical installations), 450 (Communications, security and information technology) and 460 (Conveying systems) in accordance with DIN 276. Four expert teams cover electrical engineering, media technology, conveying technology and lighting design – from low-voltage power and safety systems through lightning protection, telecommunications and IT technology to artistic and daylight planning. Design is manufacturer-neutral, increasingly with 3D modelling and BIM based on Revit and the buildingSMART IFC standard. Since its founding, more than 5,000 projects have been realised with architects and clients, including theatres, museums, administrative buildings, hospitals, schools, daycare centres, data centres, fire stations, sports facilities and industrial plants. Clients include, among others, SWR, Mahle, Bosch, BASF/LUWOGE, LBBW, the Mercedes-Benz Museum Stuttgart as well as the University of Tübingen and Tübingen University Hospital.
