ixxact Präzisionsmechanik GmbH in Gera manufactures demanding precision components and assemblies in the high-precision range from metal and plastic. The scope of services includes 5-axis CNC milling, CNC turning including lathe-milling and ultra-precision turning, wire and sink EDM, face and cylindrical grinding, and lapping. Additionally, laser marking, cutting, sandblasting, glide grinding, ultrasonic cleaning, component and assembly assembly, as well as inspection and measurement services with inspection protocols and first-article inspection reports are offered. Surface treatment, heat treatment, gear cutting, deep hole drilling, honing, and design are handled through a cooperation network. Customers come from laboratory and medical technology, optical industry, manufacturing measurement technology, as well as special and custom machinery. Parts are manufactured in single pieces as well as small and medium series according to drawings, with CAD data transfer via IGES, STEP, DXF, DWG, VDA, and PARASOLID. The company employs 40 staff plus apprentices on 2000 m² of production area.
