About Jander Galvanik

Jander Galvanik GmbH is an owner-managed family business based in Iserlohn (NRW), specialized since 1960 in electrolytic nickel and chrome plating of surfaces. The focus is on the finishing of rack-plated goods: the components are fixed onto racks and passed through automated electroplating lines, which enables defined treated parts with uniform coating thickness and reproducible results, even in series production. The service portfolio includes electrolytic and electroless nickel plating, chrome plating on a nickel layer, and copper plating as a base or intermediate layer, complemented by pretreatment (degreasing, pickling) and quality inspection. Steel and brass are finished for customers from the sanitary, automotive, mechanical engineering, electrical and metal goods industries. In partnership with MiNi GmbH in Velbert, the process chain is extended by vibratory finishing, deburring, cleaning, and manual electroplating of small and special series. From single parts to bulk volumes, inquiries are handled with consultation on layer structure, quotation preparation and on-time delivery.

Materials & Processes

Stahl

Steel

Base material for nickel and chromium layers providing corrosion and wear protection.

Messing

Brass

Base material for decorative and corrosion-resistant electroplating finishes, e.g. in the sanitary industry.

Ni

Electrolytic nickel plating

Hard nickel layer deposited from a nickel electrolyte with current, providing corrosion protection, wear resistance and visual appeal.

Ni-P

Electroless nickel plating

Currentless nickel-phosphorus deposition with particularly uniform coating thickness even on complex geometries.

Cr

Chrome plating

Chromium layer on a nickel layer for hard, resistant and highly decorative surfaces.

Cu

Copper plating

Copper layer as a conductive base or intermediate layer to improve the adhesion of subsequent layers.

Gestellware

Automated rack-plating

Components are individually fixed onto racks and passed through the line – for uniform coating thicknesses in series production.
