About JANUN e.V.

JANUN e.V. (Youth Environment Network Lower Saxony) is a registered charity-recognized association and a network of youth groups in Lower Saxony dedicated to environmental and climate justice. The association supports and connects statewide activities of young people between 12 and 27 years of age and offers educational work, seminar funding, Juleica training, places for a Voluntary Ecological Year (FÖJ) as well as internship positions. Through funding and advisory services such as the Action Fund, Awareness Fund and Flexi Fund, JANUN supports projects of its members and project groups. The network includes groups such as AK Internationales, Allmende e.V., the Education and Action Network Wandel, BUNDjugend Niedersachsen and DJN Distrikt Niedersachsen. Further offerings include equipment lending (wireless headphones, cargo bikes, bed exchange), podcasts and educational media such as hidden object pictures, as well as the JA!Nee project for the prevention of sexualized violence. The state office is located in Hannover, with further regional offices in Lüneburg, Oldenburg and Göttingen.
