JOMA-Maschinenbau GmbH

Machining expertise from a family business since 1960
JOMA-Maschinenbau GmbH is a medium-sized family business founded in 1960, now in its third generation, based in Tiefenbronn-Lehningen (Baden-Württemberg). With 175 employees, the company manufactures precision parts as contract manufacturing: its range of services includes CNC turning on Swiss-type lathes (Ø 2.5 to 28 mm, lengths up to 400 mm) and bar machines (up to Ø 250 mm), CNC milling in 3 to 5 axes (lengths up to 2000 mm, widths up to 600 mm) as well as internal, external cylindrical and surface grinding. The value chain is complemented by MAG and TIG welding with TÜV-certified welders, polishing, wet painting, and the assembly of ready-to-install assemblies and complete machine assemblies. Materials processed include steels (free-cutting, gear, case-hardening and heat-treatable steels), stainless steels, aluminium, brass, copper, bronze, castings and forgings as well as plastics – only after passing incoming inspection. Heat treatment and coatings are coordinated by JOMA through audited partner companies. Customers come from mechanical engineering, plant and equipment construction, machine tool manufacturing, the chemical, oil and power plant industries, as well as pipeline construction and the furniture industry; the parts are in use worldwide.

Quality
Every employee bears responsibility for the quality of their work step; results are documented seamlessly from order intake to delivery. Inspection is carried out, among other things, on a 3-D coordinate measuring machine (since 2003) as well as with the necessary measuring equipment and measuring systems.
