About K&K Prototypenbau
K&K Prototypenbau GmbH, based in Leopoldshöhe in East Westphalia-Lippe, is a service provider for industrial 3D printing, rapid prototyping and small-series manufacturing. The company produces prototypes, visualization models, functional parts and series parts in industrial quality – from a single piece to large series beyond 100.000 pieces. The manufacturing portfolio includes the processes SLS, MJF, SLA, FDM and SLM as well as, in addition, CNC machining, vacuum casting, prototype injection molding and sheet metal fabrication. In the SLS area, the company operates several EOS P770 large-format systems, which enable parts up to one meter in a single piece. Materials range from PA12, PA11, PAGF, TPU and flame-retardant polyamides to SLA resins and silicone, through to metals such as tool steel 1.2709, stainless steel 316L and aluminium AlSi10Mg. All work steps – CAD design, production, post-processing and quality assurance – are carried out in-house. Customers include industries such as mechanical engineering, automotive, medical technology, aerospace, electronics, consumer goods and toolmaking; deliveries are made to Germany, Austria, Switzerland as well as the Benelux countries and Scandinavia.
