About Binder Metallwaren

Karl Binder GmbH & Co KG in Enns, Upper Austria, manufactures metal goods in the Gablonzer style for the fashion jewelry and textile industries of the European region. Founded in 1955, this family business in its third generation specializes in stamping and embossing technology and produces settings (cauldrons), cauldron chains, metal badges as well as prisms, ring pins and connecting elements. Its value chain includes in-house toolmaking for cutting, die-sinking, bending, embossing and drawing tools, production on hydraulic presses (50–3500 kN) and eccentric presses (150–450 kN) as well as stamping and embossing systems from 30–300 kN, vibratory finishing and its own electroplating shop. Materials processed include brass, copper, aluminum, steel and stainless steel; tools are made from cold-work steel. Production is complemented by machining processes (sawing, CNC turning and milling, drilling, grinding) and wire and die-sinking EDM.
