KCO GmbH (KompetenzCenter Oberflächentechnik Wardenburg) is a family-owned company founded in 2009 in Wardenburg near Oldenburg, specialising in industrial surface technology. The company sandblasts, primes and coats steel components from mechanical and vehicle engineering, plant engineering and metal construction – including large-format and complex structures with a unit weight of up to 10 tonnes. The service portfolio includes sandblasting for surface preparation, multi-layer industrial wet painting for almost all metallic substrates and selected plastics, as well as corrosion protection systems tailored to operating conditions and environmental exposure. Blasting and painting are carried out in-house on 1,500 m² of hall space with an 18 m long sandblasting and painting booth, a second painting booth and automated drying systems; this avoids interfaces and secures quality throughout the entire process. The company is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and supplies industries such as agricultural machinery, mechanical and plant engineering, lifting systems, wind energy, waste management and commercial vehicle manufacturing.
