KD-PUTZ e.K. is a family-owned company based in Viöl in North Frisia that has been active in the bakery machinery sector since the late 1940s. Under 'Karl Putz, Ing.', the company began with the trade, maintenance and repair of bakery machinery in Kiel/Klausdorf; in 1968 the branch in Viöl was expanded into a production facility with its own development department. In 1973, the first KD baking tray cleaning machine was built. Today the company focuses entirely on the production of baking tray cleaning machines (TUBUR, AVIDI series), perforated tray cleaning machines (MARGO, MARGO RATIO for perforated trays with three edges), KD loader Titan, cooling boxes and proofer room automats. The machines are built using mature brush technology with transport rollers made from solid material, custom-manufactured ball bearings and a configuration individually tailored to customer requirements; the materials used are mainly stainless steel and steel. KD tray cleaning machines are in use in many countries on all continents. The company also offers maintenance, repair and emergency service as well as consulting on release agents.
