About Klevers
Klevers GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company in Mönchengladbach, founded in 1923 by Walter Klevers as a silk weaving mill, which has specialized in technical textiles since 1938. Now in its third generation, the company produces a wide range of technical yarns and threads, fabrics, needle mats and tapes as well as finishing treatments for textiles used in temperature ranges up to 1200 °C. The products are used for thermal insulation, turbine insulation, expansion joint manufacturing, welding and body protection, as well as fire and smoke protection. Klevers develops customized technical solutions for renowned customers worldwide and offers consulting as well as testing and classification of fire behavior. Quality management is certified to ISO 9001:2015; product approvals exist, among others, with EDF/PMUC and DCNS.
