About the Künemund Group
Founded in 1919 by Friedrich Künemund in Stuttgart, the Künemund Group is a supplier of rolling bearings, seals and linear technology in the German-speaking region. The family-owned company combines trading and distribution with its own manufacturing operations: Künemund Dichtungstechnik (Tönisvorst) produces seals and sealing elements made of PTFE and PTFE compound on CNC machines, including Tecoflon rings and sealing rings with metal support rings. Künemund Lineartechnik manufactures ball screws and precision guide shafts to drawing as well as complete linear systems up to ready-to-assemble assemblies; in addition, manganese phosphating of components up to 340 mm in diameter, special greasing of rolling bearings, and cleaning and inspection of existing bearings are offered. Through five trading companies in Stuttgart, Kehl, Teutschenthal-Holleben, Nuremberg and Düsseldorf, more than 150,000 items from renowned manufacturers such as Schaeffler, Timken, GRW and GMN are available. Customers come from industries such as medical and pharmaceutical, machine tools, semiconductor, automation, steel, glass and ceramics.
