About KUSTEC
Since 2006, KUSTEC Kälte- und Systemtechnik GmbH has been developing and manufacturing tailor-made refrigeration systems and cooling systems at its site in Freundorf, Lower Austria. The portfolio includes hydrogen cooling systems for refuelling stations (around 50–60 % of business volume), industrial refrigeration, commercial refrigeration, process cooling, chillers including transcritical CO2 technology, CO2 condensation, biogas cooling as well as commercial and hall air conditioning. KUSTEC relies on natural refrigerants such as carbon dioxide (R744), propane (R290) and R449A with low global warming potential. Systems are planned, produced, installed and commissioned; an in-house climate service handles maintenance, repair and PLC upgrades. Customers include hydrogen mobility, pharma and pharmaceutical logistics, food processing, logistics, chemicals, the plastics industry, mechanical engineering and agriculture. Systems are serviced worldwide via service partners; in 2018 Kustec Corp America was founded in Denver.
