About Lady A Design
Lady A Design is the studio of Alexandra Crosby, artist and seamstress in St. Gallen (Switzerland). At the centre is the production of handcrafted one-of-a-kind pieces between art and fashion, in particular upcycling one-offs made from textiles. Complementing this, PDF sewing patterns (e.g. C*ntbag, C#ntbag XL), lino prints and pattern designs for fabrics and wall décor are offered via Spoonflower; print-on-demand items such as T-shirts, hoodies and bath towels with own lino-print motifs are available via a Threadless shop. Individual products combine textiles with aluminium, such as rollerskate toe caps. From 2027, sewing courses are planned in St. Gallen. The way of working is geared to one-off production (lot size 1); the website has been online since 2021.
