Lars SAFFE Zerspanungstechnik GmbH from Martfeld in Lower Saxony manufactures custom precision components and ready-to-install assemblies for machinery and special machinery construction. The core competencies lie in CNC turning and CNC milling: shafts up to 3 m in length, bar stock up to 90 mm bar passage and chuck parts up to Ø 600 mm are machined, as well as complex 3- to 5-axis milled parts on machining centers from Matec and Fehlmann. The service portfolio is complemented by wire and sinker EDM, bandsaw cutting (also contract sawing), 3D printing of prototypes and seals, as well as pre-assembly of assemblies including packaging and shipping. Materials processed include all kinds of metals – including structural steel, heat-treatable steel, stainless steel, duplex steels and aluminium – as well as plastics. Customers come from industries such as oil and petroleum, chemicals, food and packaging industries, agricultural machinery, steel hydraulic engineering, commercial kitchen equipment, automotive, glass industry, container construction, trade fair construction and medical technology. On 1,000 m² of production space, a team of 25 employees works on 15 machines; production is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
