About Lastech AG
Lastech AG in Mellingen is a contract manufacturer specialising in sheet metal processing with over 35 years of experience and more than 50 employees. The company produces 2D and 3D laser cuts, laser welds, folding work as well as tube and profile bending, and delivers from individual components to fully assembled assemblies for machinery, plant and apparatus engineering. The machine park comprises four laser systems (including a ByCut Star 4020 with 15 kW, formats up to 4000 × 2000 mm and 25 mm thickness), automated sheet metal warehouses, three press brakes up to 320 t pressing force and 4100 mm bending length, as well as systems for mandrel bending, profile bending and roll bending. In addition, Lastech offers mechanical machining, deburring, tumble finishing, glass bead blasting and, through proven partners, metal finishing such as anodising, galvanising, powder coating or electropolishing. Materials processed are mainly steel, stainless steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals, occasionally also plastics and wood. With three plants in Mellingen, including since July 2023 a plant for welding, straightening and assembly work, Lastech AG serves industries ranging from metal construction and vehicle manufacturing to medical technology and furniture manufacturing – from one-off pieces to large-scale series.

2D laser cutting
Four systems produce sheet metal blanks up to 4000 × 2000 mm and max. 25 mm thickness, with fully automatic loading.
3D laser cutting/welding
3D systems with rotary axis process complex parts and tubes up to 12 mm thickness and carrier lengths up to 8000 mm.
Folding
Three press brakes (40–320 t, bending lengths up to 4100 mm) with angle measuring system for precise bending shapes.
Tube and profile bending
Mandrel bending and profile bending machines for round tubes up to Ø 60.3 mm and workpiece heights up to 300 mm.
Finishing (deburring, tumble finishing, glass bead blasting)
In-house systems for edge rounding up to R3, vibratory grinding and customised surface qualities.
Assembly / Assembly production
Assembly of delivered and in-house parts into complete assemblies in the specialised Plant 2.
