Limbacher Oberflächenveredelung GmbH (LOV) is a subcontractor for powder coating and industrial wet coating headquartered in Limbach-Oberfrohna. Established in 1999, the company employs around 65 staff at two locations in Saxony (Limbach-Oberfrohna and Mülsen St. Jakob) and is part of the OMEGA Group, a system supplier for complex metal assemblies with approximately 450 employees at four locations. A wide range of services is provided: Pretreatment (chemical with tri-cation zinc phosphate, chrome-free passivation, or mechanical), powder coating on four automatic and manual systems up to 10 m component length and 4 tons single weight, as well as industrial wet coating with solvent and water-based paints in fully climate-controlled cabins up to 6 m and 2 tons. We process steel, steel castings, galvanized steel, aluminum, aluminum castings, stainless steel, zinc castings, fiber-reinforced plastics, and wood. Additionally, we offer sealing, anti-corrosive coating, gluing, and assembly/disassembly work; KTL coatings are performed through fixed partners. Our customers include the defense & security, mechanical and vehicle engineering, railway technology, architecture & façade, climate & energy industry, agricultural technology, and electrical engineering sectors.

Materials and processes
Powder coating
On four plants at two locations from single parts to large series, up to 10 m length and 4 t single weight, also according to GSB specifications.
Industrial wet coating
Processing of solvent and water-based paints in two climate-controlled cabins up to 6 m length and 2 t.
Tri-cation zinc phosphate
Chemical pretreatment of steel parts for adhesion preparation and corrosion protection.
Chromium-free passivation
Environmentally friendly, chromium- and wastewater-free pretreatment, especially for aluminum and stainless steel.
KTL coating
Cathodic dip coating through fixed partners complements the powder and wet coating portfolio.
Steel
Most common material, also galvanized, for mechanical engineering, agricultural technology, and defense up to corrosion protection class C5M.
Aluminum
Sheets and cast components for façades, balcony constructions, and machine housings.
Stainless steel
Coating of plant technology for the energy infrastructure and wind farms.
Fiber-reinforced plastics and wood
Coating of plastic and wooden components as a supplement to the metal field.
