LME-ELECTRIC GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed family business located in Cadolzburg (Seukendorf) near Fürth, with more than 35 years of experience in the wiring of electrical components. The company specializes in the development and manufacture of custom cable sets for professional motorsport and additionally produces cable assemblies for industry as well as assemblies to aerospace standards for the aerospace sector. Its manufacturing scope includes prototype construction and sample wiring harnesses, wiring harnesses for all vehicle types, sensor and actuator wiring, dashboard wiring, test benches, hybrid and special cables, measurement, control and network cables, coax and USB/Ethernet cables, HV cables as well as soldered connections – from lot size 1 to small series. With its own stranding machine, cables with up to 64 conductors and lengths of 10 to 500 m are produced, including CAN, USB and Ethernet cables, 2- to 8-fold stranded twistpair cables as well as the application of shielding and insulation. Another pillar is the restoration and reproduction of historical wiring harnesses, including the assembly of analog display instruments. All cables are tested with a calibrated electronic cable tester system featuring continuity and high-voltage testing as well as a re-tension test.
